Impressive performances in Washington County Track and Field Invite

The Washington County Track and Field Invite was held at Slinger High School.

It was a solid team win for the Hartford Union High School boys track team.

The Orioles were impressive in many events, including the 4x100-meter relay with a first place finish at 43.59 (M. Jansen, S. McManigal, C. Koch, C. Ohm). West Bend East earned second place in 46.10 with Slinger coming in third at 46.52.

Hartford's Cole Ohm used his speed to finish first in the 100-meter race with a time of 10.93. Slinger's Jeffrey Ford and Tomasz Van eperen finished tied for second at 11.67.

Another notable performance was Brody Gumm's 51.67 in the 400-meter. It was enough for first place. Benjamin Sajdak of West Bend East finished second with a time of 51.88. Oliver Davison of Kettle Moraine Lutheran earned third place with a 52.49.

The 200-meter race saw the Orioles finish first and second. Ohm broke through the tape first at 22.22 while his teammate, Ethan Webb finished second at 23.22.

It was also a first and second place finish in the triple jump for the Orioles. Gumm's 39-00.00 was the top jump followed by 38-08.00 by Tyler Zuern.

Carter Koch recorded the top long jump for Hartford Union High School with 20-07.00. Vincent Zirbes of West Bend East was second with a jump of 18-11.00.
